What we do

Counselling

Our experienced therapists bring their understanding and acceptance to build your practical knowledge, skills and strategies to progress through life’s challenges. We work with youth from 12 years of age, adults, couples and families.

We use best-practice, evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. We combine these with specific understandings and skills which have helped hundreds of Western Australians to improve their mental health and life experience. We are continually learning and adapting to new developments in understanding of the human mind.

We have experience and expertise in supporting individuals with Autism, ADHD, BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief, donor conception counselling, improved family relationships, and more.

Occupation and Career Coaching

Finding meaning in how we spend our time is something we all strive for. Those of us who are neurodivergent need occupations (paid or otherwise) which support our less-common interests, strengths and social needs. For some of us that’s a day job to support our passions or families; a few experience a calling; some people are looking to get back into the workforce after a break, or find a way to be involved that supports their health. Many people are looking for something reasonably interesting in a pleasant social environment that pays adequately. Let us help you figure out what will support your health, wellbeing and flourishing.

Employment Support and Advocacy

Workplace communication and relationships can be difficult and sometimes it can be very helpful to have an experienced guide. We offer workplace consultation, mentoring, mediation, negotiation and advocacy, to find a path to an outcome that’s positive for everyone.

  • Workplace Accommodations: Helping you find practical workplace adjustments to ensure you are comfortable at work
  • Improved Communication: We can facilitate open, solutions-focussed conversations between you and your employer to improve understanding of your needs and differences
  • Training: Upskilling workplaces in understanding and accommodation of neurodivergence, improving everyone’s safety, happiness and productivity at work

NDIS Support

Our counselling and consultation is currently available to assist NDIS participants with Capacity Building including Improved Relationships, Improved Health and Wellbeing, and Finding & Keeping a Job, where their NDIS plan is self-managed or plan-managed.

Ask us about how our services may be supported by your NDIS plan funding to meet your NDIS goals.
